Jodie & Jonathan's Sophisticated New York City Hall Elopement

There’s nothing quite like a New York City Hall elopement. On any other February morning in the city, you would expect grey skies, perhaps a little snow, and windchill that would keep most people indoors. However, this particular day began with cloudless blue skies and warm rays of sunshine.
Jodie and Jonathan, who both work in respective fields (Jodie in fashion, Jonathan in the hotel industry) that require a lot of orchestration with events, wanted their wedding day to be simple. They decided on an intimate gathering at the marriage bureau with their closest friends & family, complete with their furry ring bearer, Alfie. The pair was joyfully married and sent off with an explosion of fluttering, white confetti. We wrapped up their beautiful day with wedding portraits at the iconic Washington Square Park, with the arch featuring in several photos as a nod to Jonathan’s French background.
